Birthing of the Overcomers

"ARISE! Shine; for your light has come!
And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you!" Isaiah 60:1

During the Feast of Tabernacles last year, I experienced a monumental shift in personal destiny. Pictured here is my son Stephen and I attending a Tabernacles convocation near Duluth Minnesota in October 2017. The city of Duluth MN on the border of Lake Superior is a key "gate city" according to a 1979 vision of the U.S.A. by Thea Eroes where this area was seen to be the EAST GATE of the USA. The eastern gate is also where the glory of the LORD returns in Ezekiel's vision. So it is a beginning point and also an area of birthing new things.

Duluth is the Hebrew letter Daleth which in ancient Hebrew pictograph lettering is a DOOR. Several of us went to a key location in Duluth at the end of Interstate 35 overlooking Lake Superior which has a huge Gate or DOOR in the shape of the ancient Hebrew letter Daleth. A historic marker at this place calls Duluth: "the gateway to the world through the great lakes." Pictured here is this large gate where we spoke some blessings and sounded shofars to declare an OPEN DOOR for the coming birthing of God's overcomers.

"I looked, and behold, a DOOR standing open in heaven.
And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying,
"Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this." Revelation 4:1

Ascending and "coming up here" is the purpose and destiny of the overcomers. In Revelation chapter 12 it talks about the manchild being caught up to God and to His throne, and the manchild is representative of the overcomers. They are firstfruits following Jesus in both character and resurrection power. Having the sacrificial loving character of Jesus (and His great forgiveness) is way more important than getting resurrected bodies, but the reality is that those with His character will also get resurrected bodies like His too.

The overcomers will simply be first in getting resurrected bodies to walk the earth similar to Jesus' body after He rose from the dead. These bodies can go freely between heaven and earth, which is what the overcomers, who will be birthed, will be doing. They will have supernatural resurrected bodies that do not die. This perfection of body is the Tabernacles reality that many will be walking into in our generation. So, who will be a part of it?

273 is a prophetic number that represents a firstfruits company of people (similar to Gideon's 300 men and similar to Christ Jesus) who have attained bodily resurrection! Paul didn't attain bodily resurrection (Phil. 3:10-12). Perhaps Enoch, Phinehas, Elijah and apostle John did attain bodily resurrection like Jesus? But it was not time for their full disclosure. I believe that the firstfruits company of this "overcomers" group that is being birthed will have perfected and resurrected bodies on the earth.

Lets take a closer look at Gideon and how what he did is a representation of the overcomers. The fall feasts of: 1) Trumpets, 2) Atonement and 3) Tabernacles are portrayed in the three things that God told Gideon to do to overcome the enemy. He was told to: 1) blow shofars (trumpets), 2) smash the clay jar pitchers, and 3) hold up the torches of light that were inside the pitchers. These three things are symbolic of the order in which the overcomers will be brought to birth during the fulfillment of the LORD's fall Feasts.(1)

The chart above shows how Jesus will fulfill the three fall feasts through His overcomers. The overcomers of previous generations will be raised back to life during some future Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashana). Paul says, "At the last trumpet, the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised incorruptible." (1 Cor 15:52) Then ten days later on the Day of Atonement, those overcomers who are still alive in our generation will be changed in an instant and receive a resurrected body like Jesus. 1Thessalonians 4:14-18 is very clear about this fact saying:

"that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the LORD will by no means precede those who are asleep (dead). For the LORD Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first (on the feast of Trumpets). Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them (On the Day of Atonement)."

The words "caught up" means they get a resurrected body. In context, the living overcomers get the same incorruptible resurrected bodies as the dead overcomers, and they all rule and reign with Christ:

The book of Revelation is very clear that: "the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshipped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands (the overcomers) lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead (those who didn't overcome) did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Over such (the overcomers) the second death has no power, but they (the overcomers) shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years." Revelation 20:4-6

Gideon breaking the jars of clay or earthen vessels or pitchers (Judges 7:19-20) represents our flesh being broken. Paul said, "I die daily" (1 Cor. 15:31) in the very context of getting resurrected bodies, because dying-to-self is the seed we plant to get resurrected bodies (1 Cor. 15:31-58). The overcomers will follow in the footsteps of Jesus through the death of the flesh and dying daily to self. His forgiveness and agape love of giving Himself for others will be repeated and re-lived through His overcomers.

As for Jesus' physical return, He will return in His resurrected body the same way that He came back during the 40 days after His resurrection (Acts1:11). He only appeared to believers and stayed hidden from unbelievers. God is not into forcing people to believe in Him, and His overcomers will have this same heart. However, there will be a greater measure of judgment on wickedness than has happened over the past two thousand years, because the time allotted to the beast systems has now expired in favor of the overcomers. (Dan 7:22)

The current "Order of Mystery Babylon" used by the beast systems (man's governments and occult religion) are coming to an end in our generation. They will be replaced with the "Order of Melchizedek"(2) which is a kingship and a priesthood combined. The overcomers will walk in the order of Melchizedec and will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign (as kings) with Him in the earth bringing His righteous judgments. (Rev. 15:2-3)

This Melchizedek order is based on sonship and brideship which is RELATIONSHIP oriented and not hierarchy oriented. This Melchizedek order of organic relational sonship will make the current systems obsolete by comparison. Therefore, it does NOT advocate "taking over" the current beast systems which much of "dominion theology" tries to do. The current political and governmental systems are breaking down because they work based on the love of money and controlling others.

I've been embedded in the system (having worked 20+ years for a high-tech Army Arsenal), and I can tell you firsthand that it doesn't work well. The Melchizedek order works outside of the systems of man, so mankind has nothing to fear from guns and control freaks in this new order being established.

The Melchizedek order will be built on divine family-like relationships, and not political ties or like-minded talents/giftings. The justice that will be rendered through this order will be after the character and heart of Jesus who considers others better than himself. This type of justice is not about revenge and is not administered by those hanging onto offenses. Rather, it is based on love prevailing; and clearing up unjust situations for those who have been dealt with unjustly, especially the weakest like children, orphans and widows.

A horse named "Justify" just won the Triple Crown this year, and the jockey gave honor to "his LORD and Savior Jesus Christ." I also heard that both the horse trainer and owner are believers too. Could this be a sign of the justice that is now coming with the Melchizedek order? My home state of Alabama has a calling for justice and currently the highest seat of justice in our nation is from Alabama: Jeff Sessions (former Alabama Senator) is the U.S. Attorney General. Nigel Bigpond said that the states of Alabama and Mississippi are the Gates of Justice for the nation and are shaped like servant doors hinged at the border of Alabama and Mississippi. The gates of justice are being opened in our nation!

The flood in Noah's day was justice and judgment upon his generation, and the Scripture tells us that, "as it was in the days of Noah so will it also be in the days of the coming of the Son of Man" (Matthew 24:37). Only this time in our generation, it will be a Flood of Truth in the Holy Spirit that will SAVE men instead of destroying them! This Order of Melchizedek move of Sonship will be led by the Holy Spirit within the overcomers: "When He comes to be glorified in His saints" (2 Thess. 1:10); because "Christ in us is the hope of glory" (Col. 1:27); and "the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God!" (Romans 8:19)

Finally, to sum up the fulfillment of the feast of Tabernacles in the Gideon allegory above: It is the LIGHT inside Gideon's jars of clay that represents Jesus coming in His believers. "For it is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ Jesus. We have this treasure (His light) in jars of clay (our bodies)." (2 Cor. 4:6,7) Tabernacles is the prophetic time when His light "in us" will come to full mature birth! Jesus fulfilled the spring feasts of Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits and Pentecost during his FIRST coming. He will fullfill the 3 fall feasts at his second coming!

Most likely this birth of overcomers (from all generations) will come together in full maturity with glorified bodies on the first day of Tabernacles. Then, similar to when Jesus came up in the middle of Tabernacles during His earthly ministry (John 7:2-14), Jesus will be joined as the Head of His body of overcomers during the middle of this Feast one day in the future. Finally, on the 8th and final day of this Tabernacles feast, Jesus will present the entire body to the Father and then return to earth with them (Rev. 19:11-16). These glorified overcomers will appear as regular human flesh just like Jesus did upon his resurrection. But they will also have spiritual bodies that can go to heaven as well to minister to the Father.

Today is Father's Day in the USA and it seems very appropriate to release this newsletter on Father's Day because THE firstfruit overcomer came as an only son of His heavenly Father. Of the many titles and names given to God in the Bible, there is none greater than "Father" which is what Jesus came to show us: THE FATHER. Likewise, He created us to relate to Him and to one another within the aspects and dynamics of sonship and fatherhood. When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, the only title He used for God was "Our Father." His overcomers will have learned to disciple with this same Father Leadership heart.
