Christian Unity & Peacemakers

by Paul Jablonowski

May 1, 2014

Today, on the National Day of Prayer in America, I was able to participate in: 1) a Prayer Rally and, 2) a Worship Convocation in my hometown of Huntsville Alabama. Both of these were organized by women and children which was part of the message of God releasing women in ministry in our generation like never before in history. This brief 6 minute audio and song explains this Hosea 6:1-3 meeting.

True Christian unity is agreement with God. One person in agreement with God defines Christian unity better than a stadium full of Christians doing their own thing. God's Peacemakers will bring unity, but it will not be the unity of the world. Phinehas was God's model peacemaker which I wrote about in the Covenant of Peace chapter of my book Sons to Glory. Phinehas brought God's peace by righteous judgment.

Jeremiah did not have many others who stood with Him, but since God was on his side, Jeremiah was a majority! One person plus God equals a majority in the Kingdom! Jesus said, "woe to you when all men speak well of you, For so did their fathers to the false prophets." (Luke 6:26) When we stand and intercede for the purposes of God in the earth, there WILL be misunderstanding as Jesus was probably the most misunderstood person when he walked the earth. Even his closest friends could not understand his calling and purpose. Joseph also had to walk a similar path of loneliness. But they were in unity with God the Father and those walking in the Holy Spirit bear witness.

I believe God's true peacemakers are being sent forth this year and they will bring true Christian unity, but only if our definition of unity is agreement with God. These peacemakers will bring peace because they themselves will first be at peace with God and therefore in agreement with what Jesus is doing in their lives. Then, and only then, can they help bring peace to others. And only those who humble themselves (and submit their soul - mind will and emotions - to the Holy Spirit in them) will find the peace that these peacemakers will be bringing. The world and the religious people will find God's peacemakers to be trouble makers just like they found Jesus to be a troublemaker. But He overcame and so can we!

Bob Jones' final public prophecy (written January 2014) spoke of the coming "Ministry of the Peacemakers" where he said:

"What He's doing right now in the church is uniting whosoever will with one another, because these weapons that's being released cannot be handled by one person. It will take teams to handle them and usually teams consist of about twelve people. These teams will be united with one purpose in mind and when they go to war they will make decrees and declarations according to the heart of the Father. These decrees will be established according to the will of the Father." Job 22:28 - "You shall also decide and decree a thing and it shall be established for you."

So small groups of Christians in real unity will bring about the Kingdom of God in our generation. Our weapons are not spears, arrows or guns, but rather repentance, forgiveness and above all LOVE. When we truly walk in the love of Jesus, there is nothing that can stand against us! When people see us walking in love with one another in spite of our differences or even disagreements, they will run to Jesus.

Bob Jones died on Valentines day this year and I attended his funeral in Fort Mill, South Carolina with two friends. The message was simple: "Did you learn to love?" This is what Jesus asked Mr. Jones when he had a near death experience and went to heaven in 1975. His final written prophecy about the coming peacemakers can be read here - The Coming Promise - Jones
